McGrath Foundation Pink Egg Campaign

The team at Farm Pride Foods is proud of our association with the McGrath Foundation and ask all egg lovers to continue to support us during our pink egg campaign.

Farm Pride donates 20 cents per Cage Free pink pack sold to the McGrath Foundation, which raises money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in hospitals right across rural and regional Australia to support women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families, whilst also educating young women to become breast aware.

According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, breast cancer is the most common cancer for females aged 34 to 75, with one in nine Australian women diagnosed with breast cancer by the age of 851. Six percent of these diagnoses will occur in women under 40 years.

Farm Pride Managing Director Zelko Lendich said Farm Pride was pleased to support the efforts of the McGrath Foundation through the sale of these specially packaged, cage free eggs.  “This is a fantastic cause helping so many women and their families across the country and we are proud to be a part of the fundraising efforts,” he said.
“I urge Australian consumers to shop smart and buy pink eggs to help us to support women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families in Australia, and increase breast awareness.”

The pink range of cage free eggs will be available throughout Victoria in Coles supermarkets and Woolworths supermarkets in NSW, VIC, QLD and SA.
